Lois Avis was born in 1912 in Colorada, USA. Lois Avis' father was John William (Kelly) Huffman and her mother was Bertha Edna Huston. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named William Albert, Earl Alvie, James Louis, Marion Howard, Boyd Glen, Roy, Cloyde Calvin, Evelin A, Laura M, Cora Avis (Avey), Lois Marvel (Betty) and Eunice Viola. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. She died in Walden, Jackson, Colorado, USA.
