Myrtle "Dora" was born in February 1883 in Mississippi, USA. Myrtle "Dora"'s father was Andrew J Gilliam and her mother was Mary Ella Wilhite. Her maternal grandparents were Matthew Lorenzo Dow Wilhite and Caroline J Gammel. She had two brothers and a sister, named James Nathan, John Wesley and Exie. She was the second youngest of the four children. She had two half-sisters named Lillian Anne and Dollie. She died at the age of 37 in 1920.-
