Lindsey Jo Edwards, 35, of Shaw, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 9, 1982 in Cleveland and was the daughter of Kenny Wayne and Gloria Vazquez Edwards. Lindsey had a heart of gold and a beautiful smile that would make anyone’s day. She was always happy and loved her family dearly.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria V. Edwards; grandparents, Frank and Erlinda Vazquez, Ersken Edwards and Minnie Roncali; aunt, Sylvia Vazquez; and five uncles, Frank Vazquez, Melio Vazquez, Jean Edwards, Ricky Edwards, and Ronnie Edwards.
She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Kenny Edwards of Shaw; two sisters, Tina M. Jones of Munford, Tennessee and Tonia M. Scheafer of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, Kenny Lee Ersken Edwards of Olive Branch; six nieces, Brittany Tiner, Isabel Jones, and Gabriel Jones all of Munford, Tennessee, Holly Fisher and Sarah Sharpe both of Memphis, Tennessee, and Emma Edwards of Olive Branch; six nephews, Brandon Hawkins of Senatobia, Michael Jones, Jr. of Munford, Tennessee, Tyler Watkins and Auston Fisher both of Memphis, Tennessee, Keegan Edwards and Dalton Day both of Olive Branch; ten aunts, Esperanza Palacios of Shaw, Mary Edwards of Charleston, Alice Northern of Carthage, North Carolina, Tina Garcia of Wesson, Rita Roncali of Indianola, Margie Goslin and Sarah Ray both of Charleston, Brenda Manning of Grenada, Linda Auerswald of Horn Lake, and Martha Hester of Nettleton, and six uncles, George Vazquez of Summerville, Tennessee, Tommy Edwards, Joe Edwards, Billy Edwards, and PeeWee Edwards all of Charleston, and Butch Edwards of Enid.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm memorial service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. Bro. Pete Roncali will officiate. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
