She had four brothers and four sisters, named John Wesley "Peck", Jessie Evine, Grady "Jim", Robert, Willie Mae, Lemma, Bulah and Robbie. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 84 on January 25th, 1998 in Ripley, Tippah, Mississippi, USA.General Notes
84, of Walnut, Miss., died January 25, 1998 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley, MS. She was the widow of Paul LYLES. Services were held at 11 a.m. on January 27 at Clear Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. George Bolden officiated. Thomas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She leaves three sons, Winfred LYLES of MS, Charles LYLES of LA, Robert LYLES of MS; three daughters, Mary A. SKELTON of MS, Bobbie Lynn MATHIS, Judy JEANES, both of MS; a brother, Grady CREASIE of MS; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Pallbearers were Brian JEANES, Floyd MARTIN, Coby BRIDGES, Mike LYLES, Dewayne LYLES, Howard HALLEY, Jonathan LYLES.
