Grady "Jim" was born on June 11th, 1910 in Lamar, Benton, Mississippi, USA. Grady "Jim"'s father was Robert "Bob" Creasie and his mother was Vinnie Marie Feathers. His paternal grandparents were John Creasie and Jane Dyer; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Feathers and Sarah Jane Bowles. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Wesley "Peck", Jessie Evine, Robert, Willie Mae, Lemma, Bulah, Robbie and Lelia Mae. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 90 on October 14th, 2000 in Lamar, Benton, Mississippi, USA.General Notes
Mr. Grady Creasie, 90, of Lamar, Miss., died October 14, 2000 at his home. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Services were held at 11 a.m. on October 16 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the John C. Skelton Cemetery in Lamar. Bro. Joseph P. Thomas officiated. He leaves his wife, Annie Creasie; two sons, Grady Creasie Jr., Robert Creasie; three daughters, Robbie Thompson, Pat Martin, Gail Allen; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
