Jacob A was born on July 19th, 1857 in Lincoln, Tennessee, USA. Jacob A's father was John William Jr Cole and his mother was Elizabeth Painter. His paternal grandparents were John William Cole and Nancy Graves; his maternal grandparents are William Painter and Hepsie Epps. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, John William, Lawrence "Larry " J, George A, Franklin Price "Babe", Nancy Jane, Hepsie Marie, Sarah Malinda and Fannie H. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 75 on November 1st, 1932 in Cushman, Independence, Arkansas, USA.-
