James P Byrd

James P was born on May 22nd, 1848.  James P's father is Samuel William Byrd and his mother is Phoebe Laymance.  His paternal grandparents were William Byrd and Hannah Thornton. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, William H, Issac, Margaret J, Mary E, Sarah, Mahala J and Hannah.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 76 on May 10th, 1925.
