Robert was born about 1799 in SCARBOROUGH North Yorkshire England.  Robert's father is Robert Land and his mother is Ann Pool.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Land and Elizabeth Land.  He has a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Mary.  He is the youngest of the three children.
