Sarah (Sally) was born in 1766 in Baildon, Otley.  Sarah (Sally)'s father is Peter Jowett and her mother is Mary Bowers.  Her paternal grandparents are Peter Jowett and Mary Thompson.  She has three sisters named Anne, Mary and Elizabeth.  She is the youngest of the four children.
