Alice Newhouse

Alice was born in 1853 in Claughton, Lancashire, England.¹ Alice's father was William Newhouse and her mother was Margaret Cornthwaite. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Newhouse and Ellen (Newhouse). She had a brother and two sisters, named Edward, Elen and Ann. She was the third oldest of the four children.
