Mary Cookson

Mary was born in 1652 in Skipton, Yorkshire, England. Mary's father was Thomas Cookson and her mother was Margaret Petyt. Her maternal grandparents were Private Private and Mary Catterson. She had two sisters named Catherine and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the three children.

  ITEM, I give to Mary Paley Wife of Win. Paley of Settle and Daughter of my sister Cookson £30 if she be living at the time of my death. But if she shall depart this life before my death, Then I will the said £30 shall be and shall be taken to be part of my residuary personal Estate.
