Norihito was born on December 29th, 1954.  Norihito's father was Prince Takahito of The Yamato Dynasty and his mother is Princess Yuriko Takagi.  His paternal grandparents were Emperor Taishō of The Yamato Dynasty (123) and Empress Teimei Kujō. He had two brothers named Tomohito and Yoshihito.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 47 on November 21st, 2002.
