Akihito was born on December 23rd, 1933.  Akihito's father was Emperor Hirohito of The Yamato Dynasty (124) and his mother was Empress Kōjun.  His paternal grandparents were Emperor Taishō of The Yamato Dynasty (123) and Empress Teimei Kujō. He has a brother named Masahito.  He is the older of the two children.
