Christine was born on November 8th, 1715.  Christine's father was Duke Ferdinand Albert The 2. of House Welf and her mother was Princess Antoinette of House Welf.  Her maternal grandparents were Duke Louis Rudolph of House Welf and Princess Christine Louise of House Oettingen-Oettingen. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Charles The 1., Anthony Ulrich, Luise and Juliana.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 81 on January 13th, 1797.
