Leopold The 1. was born on December 16th, 1790.  Leopold The 1.'s father was Duke Francis of House Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld and his mother was Countess Augusta of House Reuss. He had a brother and a sister, named Ernest The 1. and Victoria.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 74 on December 10th, 1865.
