Onneca was born about 0848.  Onneca's father was King Fortún Garcés (The One-eyed and The Monk) of House Íñiguez and her mother was Queen Consort Auria (Oria) (Lubb).  Her paternal grandparents were King García of House Íñiguez (Íñiguez) and Queen Consort Urraca.  She was an only child.
