Malka was born in 1944.  Malka's father was Mordechai Zisman and her mother was Hadasa Schpatz.  Her maternal grandparents were  Menachem Mendel Schpatz and  Scheindel Yafa Reif.  She is the second of three children.  She has a brother and a sister, named Yehoshua and Yosef.
