Richard Gadd

Richard was born in 1772 in Tolland, Somerset and his baptism took place there on May 24th, 1772.¹² Richard's father was Richard Gadd and his mother was Mary Upham. His paternal grandparents were Richard Gadd and Sarah Washer; his maternal grandparents were John Upham and Elizabeth Washer. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Sarah and Mary. He was the third oldest of the five known children.
