Edith's father was Constantine THOMASON and her mother was Elizabeth Bentham. Her paternal grandparents were William THOMASON and Margaret Banks. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, William, Cyril, Edward, Margaret H. and Constance. She was the oldest of the seven children.
