Thomas WHITTLE

Thomas was born in 1871 in Wolsingham, Co Durham.¹ Thomas' father was Joseph Whittle and his mother was Nancy THOMASON. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Whittle and Mary (Whittle); his maternal grandparents were JONATHAN THOMASON and Mary Higson. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Henry, Ellen, Amelia and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the six known children.
