Ann was born in 1808 in Heaton, Lancashire and her baptism took place on May 15th, 1808 in St Peters, Bolton le Moors.1  Ann's father was RICHARD THOMASON and her mother was NANCY STONES.  Her maternal grandparents were JOHN STONES and BETTY PENDLEBURY.  She had three brothers and a sister, named JONATHAN, James, Richard and Jenny.  She was the third oldest of the five known children.  She had a half-sister named Mary.  She died about May 1886 in Bolton.2
