Mary Spence

Mary was born about November 1876 in Auckland, Co. Durham.¹ Mary's father was Thomas Spence and her mother was Jane Smith. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Spence and Rachel Woodward. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Henry, Adam, John, Herbert, Margaret, Ethel, Minnie and Eliza.
