George was born about 1844.  George's father was George Sidman Tucker and his mother was Grace Dibble.  His paternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his paternal grandmother was Ann Tucker; his maternal grandfather is <Unknown> and his maternal grandmother was Mary Dibble?. He had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Mary, Jane and Betsy.  He was the fourth oldest of the five children.
