Archie HOWELL

Archie was born about 1868 in Beckington, Somerset, England.¹ Archie's father was Handworth Howell and his mother was Betsey NEWTON. His paternal grandparents were William A S Howell and Betsy Howell; his maternal grandparents were James NEWTON and Grace Newton. He had three brothers and a sister, named Harry, Melvin Hansworth, Willie Fairfax and Alida Bessy. He was the third oldest of the five children.
