John Thorne

John was born about 1798 in Bratton Fleming, Devon.¹ John's father was Richard Thorne and his mother was Elizabeth Parkin. His paternal grandparents are Richard Thorne and Mary Gill. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Jacob, William, George, George, Elizabeth, Mary, Susan and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died before 1871.
