Margaret (Peggy) Welch

• General Notes
  • Peggy is involved in the running of the Market Lavington village museum.  The museum (and Peggy) won an award for museum volunteer of the year in 2002.
    
    Sarah and Mary Welch (aged 50 and 46 listed in the 1901 census as joint head of household  and single).
    
    Peggy's grandparents were Annie Earl and James Welch.   James Lye, head gardener at Clyffe Hall created fushia in both their names. 

Jonty Gye
Jonty was born on November 29th, 1946.  He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia at the age of 55 in 2001.
