Ramon was born in October 1784 in El Palau d'Anglesola (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya. and his baptism took place on October 27th, 1784 at El Palau d'Anglesola (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya. Església de Sant Joan Baptista conducted by Joseph Fages.  His godfather was Francisco Martí d'Aguiló (Bisbat de Vic) and his godmother was Antònia Camí i Onó del Palau d'Anglesola. Ramon's father was Ramon Tribó Penelles and his mother was Maria Camí Oró.  His paternal grandparents were Pau Tribó Ribalta and Magdalena Penelles Yyyy; his maternal grandparents were Josep Camí Roca and Antònia Oró Font. He had a brother and a sister, named Josep A. and Maria Antònia.
