Raimunda was born on November 24th, 1867 in El Palau d'Anglesola (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya. and her baptism took place on November 23rd, 1867 at El Palau d'Anglesola (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya. Església de Sant Joan Baptista conducted by Francisco Gaya (regent).  Her godfathers were Pau Vilaplana d'El Pedrís, casat, pagès and her godmothers were Raimunda Tribó, casada d'El Palau, i tieta.  Raimunda's father was Joan A. Tribó Tarragó and her mother was Antònia Vilaplana Cisteró.  Her paternal grandparents were Josep A. Tribó Camí and Raimunda Tarragó Borràs; her maternal grandparents were Ramon Vilaplana Yyyy and Maria Cisteró Yyyy. She had five sisters named Antònia, Maria, Ramona, Josep and Rudesinda.  She was the third youngest of the six children.
