Lluís was born in 1924 in Ivars d'Urgell (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya. and his christening took place in May 1931.  Lluís' father was Josep Segarra Gasol and his mother was Isabel Monsonís Yyyy.  His paternal grandparents were Pere Segarra Segarra and Paulina Gassol Puig; his maternal grandparents were Sr. Monsonís Yyyy and Sra. Xxxx Yyyy. He had a sister named Paulina.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 89 on September 19th, 2013 in Lleida (Segrià). Lleida. Catalunya. Hospital Arnau de Vilanova.  The funeral took place in Ivars d'Urgell (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya..  He was buried in Ivars d'Urgell (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya..1
