Blasi Segarra Niubó

Blasi was born on September 28th, 1729 in Ivars d'Urgell (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya. and his baptism was conducted by Pere Segarra.¹   His godfather was Blasi Niubó de Castellnou and his godmother was Maria Niubó de Castellnou.  Blasi's father was Andreu Segarra Comes and his mother was Magdalena Niubó Yyyy.  His paternal grandparents were Josep Segarra Peiró and Mariana Comes Yyyy; his maternal grandparents were Pere Jaume Niubó Yyyy and Sra. Xxxx Yyyy. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Pere, Jaume, Bonaventura, Andreu, Josep, Jaume, Anton, Catarina, Quitèria, Maria, Teresa and Maria Anna.  He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 50 on June 2nd, 1780.¹
