José Riu Vall 
José was born on August 12th, 1856 and his baptism took place on August 13th, 1856 conducted by Mn Josep Visa (regent).1 His godfather was Jose Vall de La Fuliola and his godmother was Maria Pedrós Saltiveri. José's father was Joan Riu Moré and his mother was Francisca Vall Mosull. His paternal grandparents were Raimundo Riu Canes and Magina Moré Galitó; his maternal grandparents were Francisco Vall Yyyy and Maria Mesull Yyyy. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ramon, Francisco, Pablo, Maria and Magina. He died at the age of 46 in 1902 in Madrid (). Madrid. Espanya..2 General Notes
