Rosa was born in 1838 in Sidamon (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya.. Rosa's father was Jaume Companys Solé and her mother was Joana Oliveres Manso. Her paternal grandparents were Josep Companys Yyyy and Teresa Soler Yyyy; her maternal grandparents were Tomàs Oliveres Yyyy and Maria Manso Yyyy. She had a brother named Francisco. She was the older of the two children. She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia at the age of 65 on January 29th, 1903 in Sidamon (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya..
