Friedricka was born on May 10th, 1888 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).1  Friedricka's father was Jacob Sprecher and her mother was Friedricka Hagelen (Sprecher).  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Sprecher and Louisa Janke (Sprecher). She had five brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, Matthews, Matthews, Alfred, Robert, Margaret, Katherine, Christina, Louise, Pauline and Martha.  She died at the age of 84 on February 16th, 1973.1

Friedricka and Matthews were married in a religious & civil ceremony on December 30th, 1906 in Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota, USA.1
