Jacob was born on May 20th, 1830 in Pennsylvania, USA.1  Jacob's father was Peter Queer and his mother was Elizabeth ? Queer.  His paternal grandparents were ? “Lawrence” Queer and ? ? Queer. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, William, Leonard, Caroline, Eve and Rosana.  He was the third oldest of the seven known children.  He died at the age of 68 on October 17th, 1898.1 

Jacob's family

Jacob and Catharine were married.  They had five sons and five daughters, named David, Robert, Joseph, John, Edward, Elizabeth, Jane, Minnie, Ada and Ethel.  The family line is yet to be completed.
