August Koehler

August's father was William Koehler and his mother was Louisa Sprecher (Koehler). His maternal grandparents were Friedrich Jon “Fred” Sprecher and Louise “Christine” Gruning (Sprecher) Grunning. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Wilhelm, Heinrick, Louise, Anne, Pauline and Katherina.
