Sarah Murdoch

Sarah was born on June 5th, 1871 in Coylton.

- Born in Joppa, Coylton.

Sarah's father was James Murdoch and her mother was Elizabeth Hay. Her paternal grandparents were John Murdoch and Jane McCartney; her maternal grandparents were William Hay and Jane Hunter. She had a brother and three sisters, named John, Jane, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 57 on March 17th, 1929.
