John Martin

John was born about 1863 in Ayr. John's father was James Martin and his mother was Isabella Gray. His paternal grandparents were James Martin and Helen Mulholland; his maternal grandparents were David Gray and Isabella Turner. He had a brother and three sisters, named David, Mary, Hellen and Margaret. He was the fourth oldest of the five children.
