Francis was born on November 26th, 1865 in Monkton. Francis' father was Joseph Kerr? and his mother was Elizabeth / Jane Kerr?.  He was an only child.  He died due to heart disease, Cardio Vascular Degeneration, at the age of 88 on March 20th, 1954 in Cumnock.
