Perfecta was born on 18-Apr-1895 in Valdevacas de Montejo (Segovia).  Perfecta's father was Valeriano Peña (Cuéllar) and her mother was Romana González.  She was the oldest of five children.  She had two brothers and two sisters, named Nicolás, Valeriano, Margarita and Felipa.  She died, at the age of 94, on 24-Sep-1989 in Cuevas de Provanco (Segovia).
