Lucy was born on November 9th, 1895 in Otterford, Somerset, England.1   Lucy's father is Joseph Pitman and her mother is Sophia Pitman.  Her paternal grandfather is Alfred Pitman; her maternal grandparents are Richard Cole and Ann Cole. She had three brothers and a sister, named Alfred G, Joe, William and Ellen.  She died at the age of 82 on June 1st, 1978 in Taunton, England (Taunton, Somerset, England).
