Elizabeth was born in 1793 in Burland, Sandwick and her baptism took place on February 16th, 1794.  Elizabeth's father was John White and her mother was Elizabeth Manson.  Her maternal grandparents were Magnus Thomason and Elspet Elgin.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 86 on February 17th, 1879 in Burland, Sandwick.
