John was born on May 1st, 1952.  John's father was Oliver and his mother was Rose Rosalind Helen Facer.  His paternal grandparents were William Jordan and Catherine Broderick.  He had a brother named Bill.  He was the older of the two children.  He died from cancer at the age of 30 on March 5th, 1983.
