Алексей Дмитриевич was born in 1924 in дер. Овсянниково Солнечног. р-н Моск.обл..  Алексей Дмитриевич's father was Дмитрий Иванович Маракасов and his mother was Елизавета Сергеевна Купцова.  His maternal grandparents were Сергей Купцов and <Unknown>. He had three brothers named Михаил Дмитриевич, Евгений Дмитриевич and Борис Дмитриевич.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died as a war casualty at the age of 18 in 1942 in дер. Овсянниково Зеленогр.р-н Моск.обл..
