Simeon's father was John Webster and his mother was Anna. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Webster and Elizabeth Peck. He was an only child.

- Simeon Webster is mentioned in the History of Tolland County (Page 89), as having been in the French & Indian War - campaign of 1758. Connecticut had agreed to furnish 5,000 men, and a company was formed in Toland County and its vicinity, of which Samuel Chapman, of Tolland, was captain.
