Homer was born in 1800.  Homer's father was Laban Webster and his mother was Lucy Wright.  His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Webster and Ruth Holdridge. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Horace, Lucien, Benjamin, Betsey, Lucy, Clarina, Adeline and Ruth.  He died at the age of 66 in 1866.
