Hannah was born in 1798.  Hannah's father was John Simpson and her mother was Rebecca Weir.  Her paternal grandparents were John Simpson and Hannah Roberts; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Weir and Mary.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 85 in 1883.
