John Duke of Bedford's father was King Henry IV and his mother was Mary of Bohun.  His paternal grandparents were John of Gaunt and Blance of Lancaster. He had three brothers named King Henry V, Thomas Duke of Clarence and Humprey Duke of Goucester.
