George William

George William's father was Earnest Duke of Cumberland and his mother was Thyra. His paternal grandparents were George V King of Hanover and Marie of Altenburg; his maternal grandparents were Christen IX King of Denmark and Louisa Princess of Hesse-Cassel. He had a brother and two sisters, named Earnest Augustus Duke of Cumberland, Marie Louise and Alexandra.
