Francisco de Paula Duke of Cadiz's father was Charles IV King of Spain and his mother was Louisa Maria.  His paternal grandparents were Charles III King of Spain and Maria Amalia of Saxony; his maternal grandparents were Philip Duke of Parma and Marie Louise. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Charles (Don Carlos), Ferdnando VII King of Spain, Carlotta and Maria.  He died in 1865.
