Charles the Count of Flanders was born in 1083.  Charles the Count of Flanders' father was Canute IV the Saint King of Denmark and his mother was Adelie of Flanders.  His paternal grandparents were Sweyn II Estridson King of Denmark and Gunhild Svendsdatter.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 43 in 1126.
